For this portion of Lab 2, I used an actual object as a reference to model in 3D. The object I chose was a table scraper that waiters sometimes use in restaurants to quickly clear crumbs off the table.

I drew out the table scraper in my sketchbook and included some dimensions to help model it to scale.

To model this object, I used the Rhino commands ExtrudeCrv, EdgeSrf, ExtrudeSrf, BooleanUnion, CageEdit, and OffsetSrf. I initially had some trouble using BooleanUnion to form the scraper's body portion, so at times I had to resort to CageEdit to get the surface shapes that I wanted without trying to unite two surfaces. Luckily BooleanUnion worked to unite the scraper's clip to its body. I think it turned out well in the end.
